The fuller story
Jamaurice's path began deep in the data layer — traditional SQL Server environments that grew into a broad command of MySQL, PostgreSQL, and modern cloud-native database systems. That foundation taught him something that shapes everything he builds today: well-architected data systems are not a back-office detail, they are the difference between an enterprise that scales and one that stalls.
Fortune 500 at scale
Over nearly 15 years he has engineered and operated high-stakes data platforms for industry leaders. He is currently a Senior SQL Server DBA at RegEd, and has held senior data roles including Principal DBA at eBay, Staff Data Platform engineer at ActiveCampaign, and database work for Disney (via NetImpact), McKesson, and Wipro. Each engagement demanded both technical excellence and business judgment — strict consistency and availability for billion-dollar transaction systems, real-time personalization for enterprise marketing platforms, and streaming infrastructure built to absorb millions of concurrent users.
A representative result: a zero-downtime migration of a 5 TB SQL Server database to PostgreSQL on AWS that delivered roughly 70% performance improvement and about $1.2M in annual cost savings. He is a Liquibase Certified Practitioner and also runs Preserva Solutions, his independent database consultancy.
From data platforms to AI governance
Recognizing where enterprise systems were headed, Jamaurice moved from operating data to governing intelligence. Through EVE NeuroSystems LLC he created EVE CoreGuard, deterministic AI governance infrastructure that evaluates every proposed AI action before execution and produces cryptographically signed evidence for every decision — so that no AI action executes without proof. The work spans 93 U.S. provisional patent applications across six coordinated families covering authority resolution, governed inference routing, and a cryptographic authority chain.
Norvalk: autonomy that can show its work
The same conviction — autonomy bounded by code, and accountable after the fact — carried him into a different arena. As Founder & Chief Architect of Norvalk, he is building an autonomous trading agent that reasons about the market before it acts. Risk limits are enforced in code rather than in policy prose, and every decision is logged with an auditable rationale. It is simulation-first by design and remains pre-release.
Healthcare and the markets look like opposite ends of the map. The requirement they share is the one EVE CoreGuard was built for: a system that acts on its own has to be able to show, afterwards, exactly why it acted. Norvalk is that principle applied where the feedback is brutal and immediate — and where an unexplained decision is indistinguishable from a bad one.
ArkCloud Health
Today, as Founder & CEO of ArkCloud Health LLC, Jamaurice applies that discipline — reliable data platforms plus provable AI governance — to healthcare, where correctness, privacy, and auditability are not optional. It is the natural convergence of his two decades of work: the rigor of a Senior DBA and the accountability of governed AI, aimed at technology that clinicians and patients can trust.
No AI action executes without proof.
